Situated on the edge of the rugged coastline of the North Sea in Wick, Scotland, the Hellsmouth® Rum Company have recently introduced three delicious Rum Liqueurs and a Scotch Whisky Liqueur on to the market.
Each of our liqueurs are inspired not only by our location but by local seafaring traditions and the stories of shipwrecks, smugglers and sea monsters.
The rum liqueur flavours available are Spiced, Vanilla and the Cherry flavoured Smuggler’s Rum Liqueur and our Scotch Whisky Liqueur has notes of Caramel, Butterscotch and Custard! Each liqueur not only has its distinctive taste but each bottle is able to tell a story of its own.

Hellsmouth Vanilla Rum Liqueur
Using only the finest Caribbean Rum our Hellsmouth® Vanilla Rum Liqueur is infused with vanilla giving a smooth light but exotic flavour that is perfect on its own, with splash of ice or poured over ice-cream.
Using only the finest Caribbean Rum our Hellsmouth® Spiced Rum Liqueur is infused with various spices from around the world giving a smooth rich flavour that is perfect on its own, with splash of ice or poured over ice-cream.
Although treacherous the wild waters of Hellsmouth have not stopped centuries of smugglers from using it as a route to ply their illicit trade. One of the most notorious of those smugglers was John Shand who in 1753 having smuggled rum, whisky and other spirits from Orkney to Caithness fought a running battle with pistols drawn against government appointed Excisemen in Wick Bay.
